Toronto Raptors sign Solomon Alabi

The Toronto Raptors have announced the signing of the rookie center Solomon Alabi. The 22-year-old Nigerian center was selected by the Mavericks with the 50th overall pick in the last NBA draft, and then traded to the Raptors. Alabi averaged last season 11.7 points and 6.2 rebounds per game for the University of Florida State in his sophomore year.
