Larry Drew, officially announced as the new head coach of Atlanta Hawks

As expected, Larry Drew was promoted officialy to head coach of the Atlanta Hawks to replace Mike Woodson, who has been in charge of the NBA team during the last six seasons. This will be the first head coaching job of Drew, who has worked as an assistant from several teams since 1992.

BC Hoverla, close to sign Igor Kryvych and Jerome Coleman

BC Odessa could be close to land Igor Kryvych and Jerome Coleman for the next seasons. Both players would arrive from BC Odessa after not agreeing to resign with the Ukrainian team. Kryvych averaged 6.1 points and 2.5 rebounds per game for Odessa after starting the season with BC Donetsk, while Coleman posted 16.4 points and 3.6 rebounds per game in his second stint in Ukraine. The American 30-year-old guard also played for Budivelnik in the 2007-08 season.

Cleveland Cavaliers, in talks with Byron Scott

While waiting for an answer from Tom Izzo, the Cleveland Cavaliers have started conversations with the former coach of the New Jersey Nets and the New Orleans Hornets Byron Scott to take over the NBA team. The Cavs are looking for a coach to fill the vacancy left after the firing of Mike Scott. Another option could be Mike Woodson, who was recently released by the Atlanta Hawks.

Montepaschi Siena could be interested in landing Carlos Cabezas next season. According to the 29-year-old Spanish guard, the Italian team already offered him a 3-year contract a year ago. Ümit Sonkol will play for Bornova next season. The 27-year-old Turkish forward has reached a deal with his new team. Spirou Charleroi signs Mouhamed Saer Sene

Mouhamed Saer Sene is back to Belgium. The Senegalese 24-year-old center was signed to a two-year contract by Spirou Charleroi, the champion of the Belgian league. Sene played last season for Hyères-Toulon after three unsuccesful year in the NBA, averaging 12.4 points and 11.4 rebounds per game in the last French LNB.
