Rimas Kurtinaitis, new head coach of VEF Riga

As expected, VEF Riga and Rimas Kurtinaitis have verbally reached to a deal. The Lithuanian 50-year-coach will be signed soon to take over the Latvian team. Kurtinaitis, who was in charge of Lietuvos Rytas last season before being released a month ago, will replace the former coach Donaldas Kairys in VEF Riga.
