Avery Johnson, new head coach of the New Jersey Nets

As expected, Avery Johnson will be the new head coach of the New Jersey Nets. The 45-year-old coach, who was in charge of the Dallas Mavericks between 2005 and 2007, will replace Kiki Vandeweghe, former GM of the team, who was the interim coach of the Nets last season. Johnson holds the highest coaching winning percentage in NBA history (.735).
